DOJO KUN KYOKUSHIN VERSUS ARMED-FORCES CODE 

Our belief: kyokushin karate improves military. Practitioners know that for long.  For those who still do not know it, and as confirmation for those who already knew, we provide  the Armed-forces code versus Dojo Kun. In yellow you can read the five lines of the Armed-forces code, below in white the seven rules of the Dojo Kun. The words are different but the meaning is not, take a look for yourself!

1. I belong to a professional organization.

i keep my knowledge and skills, both professional and social, at the required level.

Therefor i can, even under difficult circumstances, perform my duties well.

A. We will physically and mentally train for a strong, unshakeable given spirit.

B. We will know the true meaning of budo, to be prepaired at the right moment.

2. I am a member of a team with a common task.

i work with colleagues and i am responsible for them and the team. I correct others on their behavior and accept that others correct me on my behavior.

C. We will work with a true selfless spirit of perseverance.

3. I am honest and treat everyone with respect.

I accept no undesirable behavior such as discrimination (sexual) harassment and bullying, not with regard to myself or others. I work under applicable laws and regulations and will not abuse my position of power.

D. We will maintain the rules of courtesy, respect our elder, and will refrain from violence.

E. We will keep our faith and never forget the true virtue of humility.

4. I ensure a safe working environment.

i am responsible for the safety of others and myself.  This applies to all forms of security such as operational security, information security and safe working conditions. Alcohol should never affect my work.

F. We will seek wisdom and strength, without giving in to other demands.

5. I am aware of my responsibility.

i wil not harm the interests of defense. I will be the best example in attitude, behavior. I will responsible an lawfully work with material from the Armed-forces.

G. We will live our lifes by the discipline of karate-do, to understand the way of Kyokushin better.
